Dan is a passionate science teacher, always looking for new ways to bring his subject alive and ignite the spark of curiosity in his students. Dan holds a degree in Podiatry and is still practising. He first started teaching online with the aim of further personalising the learning journey for his students, through the use of technology and giving his students an approach to developing academically and achieving their goals.
After teaching online for some time, Dan has found that it isn’t that different from a physical classroom, apart from having more one-to-one opportunities with his students. In his classes, Dan puts great importance on creating opportunities for his students to undertake practical sessions to stimulate both their engagement and enjoyment for learning. Dan loves to see his students advance in their learning, and has always enjoyed developing creative, fun and personalised lessons.
Dan is a very gregarious and engaging teacher, so perhaps it’s not surprising, that Dan has met both the Queen and Nelson Mandela! In his spare time he loves to travel and see different countries to experience their culture and foods. At the end of the day, Dan is happy when he knows he has done a good job and when his friends and family are also happy.
